Injection molds are mainly used for thermoplastic product molding, and are increasingly used for thermosetting plastic molding.
Injection molding occupies great proportion in plastic product molding, therefore over 50% plastic molds are injection molds. While, with fierce home appliance market, shell design becomes a vital stage, which has new demands for home appliance shell in color, touch, precision, thickness etc. Experts commonly hold the opinion that, large, precise and reasonable design injection molds will be popular in future market.
As reported that, the home appliance molds demands during the twelfth five-year is estimated to increase about 10%, which will stimulate domestic molds development to great extent. In addition, for domestic automobile and motorcycle industries, currently our car output in 2012 has exceeded 3.25 million, increased 38.49% compared with that in 2011, in surprising increasing speed, therefore there's big potential market for car molds. While currently, our large and precise molds fabrication capability is not enough, medium and high level cars covers are almost all imported overseas. Therefore, to develop our own high technology large and precise automobile covers are very important in future.
